Istanbul to Host the Jewelry Industry for Four Days

New collections, production technologies and 2027 trends will be on display at IJS Istanbul Jewelry Show, Türkiye’s first and only international jewelry exhibition.

IJS Istanbul Jewelry Show, one of the jewelry industry’s leading international gatherings, is opening its doors for the 60th time. Organized by Informa and sponsored by Elmas Kule, the show will begin on Wednesday, 30 September 2026, at the Istanbul Expo Center. Approximately 1,000 brands from Türkiye and abroad will take part in the exhibition, which will connect the production and trading strength of the Turkish and global jewelry industries with more than 18,000 buyers from 120 countries. Running through Saturday, 3 October, IJS will showcase developments across gold jewelry, diamonds, colored gemstones, precious and semi-precious stones, pearls, silver jewelry and silverware, gold mountings, refining, watches, molds, display design, machinery, equipment, supporting industries, safes, software, logistics and lighting.

Turkish Jewelry Industry Connects with Global Markets at IJS

Recognized as one of the world’s five largest jewelry exhibitions, IJS Istanbul Jewelry Show will bring together everyone from manufacturers and exporters to wholesalers and retailers. Emphasizing that jewelry companies will refresh their showcases for 2027 at IJS, Şermin Cengiz, Co-Founder of IJS Istanbul Jewelry Show, said: “More than 18,000 buyers from around 120 countries are coming to our show to make sourcing agreements for 2027. IJS will give a significant boost to trade, both in the domestic market and internationally.” Inviting jewelry professionals to attend the four-day show, Cengiz also noted that IJS will feature production technologies and software solutions alongside its jewelry displays.

Production Technologies and Software Solutions in Focus

Thousands of products with a combined value of billions of Turkish lira will be displayed at the show, from jewelry sets and gold and silver pieces to diamonds and the season’s latest collections. Visitors will also be able to explore production technologies and software solutions developed for the jewelry industry. IJS Tech, known as the “machinery hall,” will feature machinery and equipment used in jewelry production. Software companies supporting the industry’s digital transformation will also present their latest solutions.

Exploring the Industry’s Future

As part of the IJS event program, WGSN, one of the world’s leading trend forecasting companies, will give a presentation exclusively for visitors. It will examine the Spring/Summer 2027 trends expected to influence the jewelry industry, sharing forecasts for colors, materials, shapes and product development. Panels and other sessions throughout the show will also address topics shaping the industry’s future.

Jewelry Designers on the International Stage

At Designer Club international designers will present their new collections to visitors from

around the world. The established Art for Jewellery: Inspiration Hub will highlight the show’s creative side through art and design focused content. IJS Istanbul Jewelry Show will take place in Halls 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 of the Istanbul Expo Center from 30 September to Saturday, 3 October 2026. The show is open exclusively to jewelry industry professionals.
