VICENZAORO: UNITED STATES TOPS THE LIST OF FOREIGN VISITORS IN JANUARY

JVF

• Farsura (IEG): “The United Kingdom, India and Germany lead the rankings. Buyers are offered the entire supply chain; companies are given everything they need to compete in global markets.”

• Great success for VO Vintage; T.Gold confirms its position as a technology leader

• VO Awards: strong appreciation for their debut

Vicenza, 20 January 2026 – Vicenzaoro January closed today’s edition with the United States leading the ranking of foreign visitors. Overall international attendance accounted for 60% of the total, in line with the record-breaking January edition of last year. Alongside the USA, the United Kingdom, India and Germany also topped the rankings.

The Italian Exhibition Group (IEG) business hub once again confirmed its ability to select the best Made in Italy and international companies across the entire jewelry industry supply chain, within a context marked by volatility in precious metal prices and tensions in global trade. A further strategic driver of success was the collaboration with the Italian Trade Agency (ICE), which brought more than 560 high-profile buyers to the jewelry show.

THE INTERNATIONAL ROUTES OF VICENZAORO

The entire jewelry community travels along international routes to Vicenzaoro. Among the 130 countries represented, the fastest-growing markets—besides the United States—continue to be Turkey, India, Spain, France, the United Kingdom and Germany, which together form the main hubs for the jewelry industry. In particular, the United States accounts for 7% of total foreign attendance, confirming its role as a strategic market for the Italian and international offering showcased at the show.

Alongside established markets, significant growth dynamics are emerging in countries such as Serbia, Lithuania and Kazakhstan, which together recorded overall growth of 60%. Strong performances were also seen in Asia, with India up 40% and China up 20%. In Western Europe, mature markets such as France and the United Kingdom grew by 23% and 12% respectively, with signs of further strengthening. Overall, the picture is that of an event capable not only of consolidating its historic markets, but also of opening up new development routes.

FROM T.GOLD TO VO VINTAGE, VIA THE VO AWARDS AND VIOFF

“Once again, Vicenzaoro promoted training, business culture and economic information: buyers found the entire supply chain, and companies found all the enabling experiences needed to compete in global markets. Five years ago, the focus was on the potential of digital channels for this industry; today it is on optimizing production processes to offset raw material costs. This is an example of what we mean by people, product, places,” emphasizes Matteo Farsura, Head of IEG’s Gold & Jewellery Division.

Alongside Vicenzaoro, key highlights included T.Gold’s undisputed leadership in technologies—which from September will debut within the exhibition center perimeter with the completion of the new hall—and the extraordinary public success of VO Vintage, the marketplace exhibition dedicated to pre-owned watches and vintage jewelry. This success also extended to the debut of the VO Awards, which celebrated traditional handcrafted skills combined with design and the ability to use new alloys and materials.

CIBJO, the World Jewellery Confederation, also played a leading role, having already chosen Vicenza as the host city for its next World Congress in September 2026. Quality was also reflected throughout the city during the event days, thanks to ViOff—the Vicenzaoro off-show organized in collaboration with the Municipality of Vicenza—which opened with the “Golden Talk” at the fair, involving more than 650 students to explore career opportunities in the goldsmithing and jewelry sectors.
