The jewels that remind us of the beauty of small things
The Petali di Rosa collection by the Roman artist Livia Bonanni aims to divert attention from technology to appreciate small things, flowers in particular, which are for her the essence of the beauty of nature.
The creations of, the artist's brand, are designed and made entirely by hand using the lost wax technique. Every single element is therefore unique and different from all the others, just like in nature. For Livia, every flower, like any woman, has its own story to tell, which can be bold and refined at the same time.
Livia Bonanni lives and works in Rome. She enters the world of jewelry working in the press office of an emerging brand. Colours and materials become the keys to her passion, which leads her to attend the Academy of Gold Arts in Rome in 2014. She approached the techniques of fusion and the study and creation of classic handmade jewelry. In 2018, she explored the history of contemporary jewelry and its evolution, at the Rome Academy of Costume and Fashion. This experience deeply changed Livia: now, every element that surrounds her can stimulate her creativity, bringing her to the realization of the line inspired by the beauty of flowers.
Livia Bonanni will present this collection at Artistar Jewels 2019 Fall Edition, an annual Contemporary Jewelry project that brings together the most talented artists from this sector from all over the world. The event will take place from 24 to 27 October at Palazzo Bovara in Corso Venezia 51, during Milan Jewelry Week, a week entirely dedicated to the world of designer jewelry.
